High School Students Create Constitution Handbills
Students in Ms. Weem's U.S. History class at the high school are studying the Federalist Papers and have created their own Constitution Handbills, similar to the pamphlets or flyers used during the 1787-1788 ratification period of the Constitution. Great job students!

KDS Historical Society Celebrates America250!

State Report Card Scores Released

Congratulations Lady Patriots Volleyball Teams!
Congratulations to all four KDS DAR Volleyball teams who recently completed very successful seasons. While winning two of the four Marshall County Tournaments, the girls’ hard work and determination has shown up not only on the court but also in the classroom with all the players maintaining a 3.0 or higher GPA. The Varsity team finished the season at 34-21, with a very demanding schedule. They played and defeated several large schools this season and won the county schools

Kendrick Cross County 4A State Champion
Congratulations to KDS senior Bailey Kendrick on winning the Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 4A Cross Country State Championship. A dedicated and determined competitive runner, Bailey also has earned state championships in the 1600 and 3200 meter distances in both the indoor and outdoor competitions this year.

KDS Junior Wins Inaugural Marshall County 3-Point Competition
KDS junior Hudson Broadway has been named the champion of the inaugural Marshall County 3-point Competition. One player was chosen to represent each of the eight high schools in Marshall County, with the competition being held during halftime of the Alabama vs. Auburn wheelchair basketball game at Sand Mountain Park in Albertville. Hudson sank thirteen 3-pointers in the final round to win the championship. Congratulations, Hudson!
