Take a Seat: KDS Launches Campaign to Repair Bleachers in the Burkey Center Gymnasium
The Olivia P. & Noel A. Burkey Center has been a center of campus life since its construction in 2003. Lane Chapel Garden and Restrooms Dedication
In 1957, the Nan Roberts Lane Chapel was established on the Kate Duncan Smith DAR School campus, thanks to a donation from the Alabama Officers’ Club, DAR, and supporters, realizing the vision of Mrs. James Henry Lane, the organization's inaugural president. Dedication Held for Michigan Center Renovations
In 1955, the DAR of Michigan built the Michigan Arts & Crafts Building to provide a space where local women and school students could learn to use their hands profitably. This building functioned as a craft center until 1994 when a different building was updated to accommodate art classes.
