As we look forward to 2024 – a year full of milestones and promise – we are thankful for your support. Because of you, and countless others like you, both past and present, Kate Duncan Smith DAR School will celebrate the 100th anniversary of its founding this year. And although much has changed at KDS over the last 100 years, our mission to provide opportunities for educational and personal growth for students, while emphasizing patriotism, responsible citizenship, and the historical legacy of the school remains the same today as it did in 1924. That mission is even more important today than ever.
With your dedication and ongoing support, Kate Duncan Smith DAR School is poised to do great things. We ask you to continue supporting the Steadfast, Loyal, Ever True Annual Fund campaign to help KDS remain:

Steadfast to our mission of instilling in children a sense of patriotism and an understanding of American ideals through the teaching of our nation’s history, promotion of responsible citizenship, and participation in DAR contests and programs

Loyal to the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of a picturesque 240-acre campus and forty buildings, including the cost of insurance and utilities

Ever True to perpetuating our unique history and traditions and bolstering heritage and community education initiatives designed to strengthen our connection with our roots

Steadfast, Loyal, Ever True Giving Levels
For accounting purposes, the Steadfast, Loyal, Ever True campaign period will begin on January 1 and end on December 31. All unrestricted and/or annual fund gifts received during this period, including those recurring gifts given as part of the Gem Sustained Giving program, will receive credit toward Steadfast, Loyal, Ever True. Gifts designated to a specific project or fund will not qualify.
Pledges are accepted for this campaign. The donor's Steadfast, Loyal, Ever True Giving Level will reflect the total value of the pledged gift; however, the pledge must be fulfilled during the campaign period.
If a donor's employer matches charitable contributions, that donor's Steadfast, Loyal, Ever True Giving Level will reflect the total value of the matched gift.
