Indoor Track Team Caps Off Successful Season

The KDS High School Indoor Track and Field season kicked off with practices in early November. Team members and coaches worked hard through the cold and rain to set goals and prepare for the season.

In the final regular season meet, KDS sophomore Bailey Kendrick grabbed the gold in the men’s 3200 meters, and KDS sophomore Joy McBride placed in the women’s 3200 meters, earning both a spot at the State Indoor Track competition.

During the State Indoor Track meet on February 3rd, Bailey Kendrick finished 4th in both the 1600 meters and the 3200 meters, and Joy McBride came in 9th for the 3200 meter race.

We are so proud of all our student athletes, and cannot wait for the Outdoor Track Season to begin!
