Books and Goodies with Our Grands Event a Success

In early September, KDS Elementary students enjoyed a "Books and Goodies with Our Grands" event. This was a special opportunity to honor and celebrate grandparents ahead of National Grandparents Day on September 7. Each grade, K-4th, had a special day scheduled with the students' grandparents.

Many grandparents were in attendance throughout the week and enjoyed some outdoor reading time and refreshments with KDS students at the school's Centennial Campus Commons. A variety of cookies and drinks were served. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather and time spent together.
