The 4th grade students of KDS Elementary social studies teacher Shelby Edmonds recently completed a project to create replicas of the many beautiful historic buildings on campus. The students researched the history of the building they chose, then created a Google Slide presentation with the research information and photos. The students used research, creative artwork, planning, computer technology, and public speaking skills as they presented their projects to their classmates. Twenty-nine projects were completed including buildings such as Becker-Horton Hall, Nan Roberts Lane Chapel, the Pennsylvania Bell Tower, Doris Pike White Gymnasium, and even the Agri-Science Building and its greenhouse!
