126th ASDAR State Conference

The Alabama Society Daughters of the American Revolution continues to champion the cause of patriotic education with its avid support of KDS DAR School and its students. During the 126th Alabama Society DAR Conference in Auburn on March 1-3, that tradition of support was evident.

During the Saturday morning DAR School Breakfast, KDS 2024 Continental Congress Representatives Kenley Owens and Brody Smith spoke about what makes KDS such a special place. They also manned an information table and talked with interested ladies about the projects and programs of the school as well as sold promotional items.

It was also special to have KDS senior Katie Randles receive an ASDAR Scholarship during the Awards Luncheon on Friday.

But the true success of the school during the Alabama Society DAR State Conference is in the sharing of the KDS story with long-time and new DAR members. It is a time to celebrate the unique privilege of having a DAR School in Alabama and to show appreciation for KDS’s most devoted supporters – Alabama Daughters!
