Student-Athletes Recognized at Signing Day
A number of KDS senior student-athletes recently signed letters of commitment to pursue their sports and educational goals in college. Shayna Russell will play volleyball at Snead State Community College. She plans on earning a degree in nursing. Nataly Grimmett will play softball at Snead State Community College. Students Selected to Represent KDS at the 135th Continental Congress
KDS DAR School is pleased to announce Gillian Head and Clint Carter as its 2026 Continental Congress Representatives. Take a Seat: KDS Launches Campaign to Repair Bleachers in the Burkey Center Gymnasium
The Olivia P. & Noel A. Burkey Center has been a center of campus life since its construction in 2003. Beyond housing the DAR-sponsored Art, Music, and Family & Consumer Sciences departments, the center's gymnasium is the heart of school and community life, hosting everything from PE classes and basketball and volleyball games to milestone events like Dedication Day and Graduation. Progress Made on New KDS DAR Elementary School
Progress is evident at the site of the new DAR Elementary School. Construction crews have finished the site work and have advanced to the next phase. As shown in these aerial photos, concrete footers have been poured, and many of the building's exterior and interior walls are currently under construction.
