DAR Middle Schoolers Earn High Marks in Fishing Tournament
Members of the DAR Patriots Middle School Fishing Club competed in a fishing tournament at Lake Martin in Alexander City alongside 75 other teams from across the state on March 14. The team of 8th grader Max Miller and 7th grader Case Frey placed 2nd in the tournament with five fish with a total combined weight of 10.38 lbs. History Comes to Life at Elementary Wax Museum
KDS 3rd graders recently showcased their months-long "Living Wax Museum" project in Becker-Horton Hall. To prepare, students researched historical figures, drafted formal reports, and designed custom displays and costumes. During the interactive event, parents and guests explored the museum, stepping on "buttons" to trigger live, memorized presentations from our talented young students.
