DAR Middle Schoolers Earn High Marks in Fishing Tournament

Members of the DAR Patriots Middle School Fishing Club competed in a fishing tournament at Lake Martin in Alexander City alongside 75 other teams from across the state on March 14.

The team of 8th grader Max Miller and 7th grader Case Frey placed 2nd in the tournament with five fish with a total combined weight of 10.38 lbs. Their biggest fish weighed in at 4.91 lbs.

8th graders Avery Mason and Saylor Mason finished 10th with a total weight of 9.46 lbs. with five fish with a combined weight of 9.46 lbs.
