DAR High School FFA Prepares for Its Spring Plant Sale

Students in the KDS DAR High School Future Farmers of America program recently spent time getting their hands dirty by potting Boston and Macho ferns in preparation for their upcoming Spring Plant Sale.

Projects like this offer students practical experience in horticulture and greenhouse management. By handling the plants during their early development phases, students learn the care, spacing, and environmental conditions needed to produce healthy foliage.
