We congratulate the KDS DAR High School Boys Basketball Team for their very successful 2023-2024 season. The boys, under the leadership of coach Justin Jonus, had a great season that included a 4A Area 14 Championship, a Northeast Alabama Sub Regional game win, and an Alabama Northeast Regional Championship. The incredible 25-10 season reached its conclusion on February 7th with the Patriots falling 71-61 to Jackson in the Final Four matchup in Birmingham.
Post season honors were given to senior Patriot Desmond Nichols who was named NE Regional MVP, All State Tournament Team and 2nd Team All State. Senior Trey Bolt was named 3rd Team All State.
