A Busy Spring for KDS Band Students

In March, the Marshall County-All Star Band, combining students from Douglas and KDS DAR High Schools, traveled to Washington, DC. The group performed at the Lincoln Memorial, overlooking the reflecting pool and the Washington monument.

In April, KDS DAR High School students Zoey Wilkins and Bailey Adams performed in Mobile, Alabama, with the All State High School White Band. Their clinician and conductor was the famous composer Randall Standridge! This was a beautiful opportunity for our band students, and we are incredibly proud of them!
