KDS DAR Elementary Students Celebrate the 100th Day of School

KDS students recently celebrated the 100th Day of School with meaningful learning activities that highlighted both creativity and academic growth.

Classrooms were buzzing as students participated in Counting Collections, carefully counting, grouping, and recording sets of 100 items. This hands-on math experience strengthened number sense, problem-solving skills, and perseverance as students explained their thinking and compared strategies with classmates.

In addition to math, students reflected on their learning journey through 100th Day essay writing. They wrote about what they have learned in the first 100 days, their goals for the remainder of the year, and what it takes to grow as a learner. These writing pieces showcased not only improved writing skills, but also thoughtful reflection and pride in their accomplishments.

The 100th Day celebration was a wonderful reminder of how far the students have come and how excited they are to continue learning every day!
